Carbon Neutrality Action Plan - The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)*

We worked with TCNJ to benchmark their carbon footprint in Scope 1, 2 and 3 levels and then develop a comprehensive plan to eliminate and/or offset all greenhouse gas emissions related to climate change. The plan contains a unique gant chart prioritization using the triple bottom line approach. The University has implemented several significant features including operating a campus-wide heating and cooling system using CHP, and designed to LEED certified level on several buildings on campus. TCNJ is a 300 acre campus and includes 3 million square feet of buildings and houses 2,500 students with another 5-7,000 commuting.

We worked with Rider to benchmark their carbon footprint in Scope 1, 2 and 3 levels and then develop a comprehensive plan to eliminate and/or offset all greenhouse gas emissions related to climate change. The plan contains a unique gant chart prioritization using the triple bottom line approach. The University has implemented several significant features including a utility scale solar field, decentralized power, heating and cooling using CHP, and LEED certified several buildings on campus at the Silver and Gold levels. Rider is a 280 acre campus with approximately 1.5 million square feet of buildings and approximately 5,000 students, including about 2,000 living on campus.

We worked with the College to benchmark their carbon footprint in Scope 1, 2 and 3 levels across 8 campuses in the NJ/NY metro area and then develop a comprehensive plan to eliminate and/or offset all greenhouse gas emissions related to climate change. The plan contains a unique gant chart prioritization using the triple bottom line approach. The college has 8,300 students across a wide local region in both urban and suburban settings. The College uses 750,000sf of space between its campuses with the Patterson campus comprising the largest part (pictured above)

City of Trenton - Net Zero Energy Master Plan*

We worked with City officials to assess all City-owned buildings for energy performance and make energy conservation measure (ECM) recommendations for improvement. In addition, we identified locations to site 2MW of ground and roof mounted PV at no cost to the City using a PPA model to offset all of the City's annual energy usage remaining after energy efficiency upgrades. This was one of the first net zero energy master plans done for a City in New Jersey, completed in 2011.

West Windsor Township - Climate Action Plan*

Jason worked with the Township to benchmark their carbon footprint for both municipal and community buildings, accounting for the total population of the Township. Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions were quantified. Jason then worked with them to develop a long term climate action plan to reduce emissions in alignment with the NJ State Greenhouse Gas Emissions Master Plan. The original plan was completed in 2009. Jason is currently working with the Township to update the plan in 2016.
